So let’s make a delicious Meat Pizza Pie!
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cups flour (plus extra for rolling dough)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt (for dough)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt (for beef)
- 1 tsp dry parsley
- 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 4 tbsp Ricotta cheese
- 3/4 of 24oz jar red sauce OR 2 cups homemade red sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- preheat oven to 375
- In a pan on low-med heat cook the ground beef
- meanwhile, in a large bowl combine the flour, vegetable oil, salt (for dough), sugar, and water.
- lightly flour your surface, knead the dough, and split in half saving one half for later.

- Roll out one half of dough
- flour lightly your pie pan and place your rolled out dough in the pie pan leaving a little extra around the edge.
- Place a nice coating of red sauce on the bottom of the dough in your pie pan. Set aside.

- chop your onions, mushrooms, and red pepper and add to the ground beef.
- Add to the beef: garlic powder, onion powder, salt (for beef), parsley and stir.

- Sauté the meat mixture for 2 minutes then add the mixture on top of the red sauce of the pie.
- top the meat mixture with more red sauce.

- top the sauce with the ricotta cheese, evenly.
- shred the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and top your pie with both cheeses.

- top the cheese with the rest of the sauce and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

- Roll out the other half of dough and place on top of the pie trimming any excess off the edges but leaving a little to connect the bottom layer of dough to this top layer of dough. Pinch the edges forming a pie crust and sealing the pie.

- Place in oven uncovered and bake for 20 minutes.
